There are some who really sleep like a log that it would take a magnitude 9.0 quake for them to be aroused from deep slumber. The Sonic Alert SBB500SS Sonic Bomb may not be creating any earthquake from the San Andreas fault line any time soon, but it sure is powerful enough to send tremors across your bed. And if this is not going to wake you up, its fully adjustable alarm clock will surely wake up your neighbors and have them banging on your door. It’s this combination of earthquake-like vibrations and aircraft-grade alarm that makes the Sonic Bomb a real wake-me-up.
Those who are always working out and would like to keep track of the various metrics through the entire fitness regime would definitely have a heart rate monitor of sorts. Well, with the world moving towards integration of functionality in many aspects, Sweetzpot decided to work on the FLOW, a wearable fitness device that will bring together a breathing sensor as well as a heart rate monitor. FLOW arrives in the form of a comfortable chest band with the claim that it can help improve athletic stamina as well as performance.
There’s nothing better than snuggling up with a good book when it gets cold outside. Amazon’s entire lineup of e-readers is wonderful, but the Kindle Oasis is my favorite of all. This is the Rolls Royce of e-readers, and she’d never buy it for herself, so go on, splurge a little.

“More consumer tech innovations can help overall healthcare and, more importantly, quicker diagnoses, in a big way. [Virtual reality] and [artificial intelligence] have been brewing for some time… but to see the different applications is encouraging,” Georgette Pascale, chief executive officer of Pascale Communications, told Healthline.
Fancy serving your loved one a hearty breakfast that’s perfect for the royalty? Instead of toiling on different kitchen utensils and cookware, you may want to use the Hamilton Beach 25490A Dual Breakfast Sandwich Maker instead. Not only are you able to cook and assemble all of these in just one device, you also get to make two of these hearty sandwiches at the same time.
Is there anything more fun than an instant camera? Fujifilm’s Instax Mini 9 is a fabulous old-school camera that prints photos as soon as they’re taken. It even has a selfie mirror so your leading lady always looks her best. The Instax Mini 9 also happens to be our top pick for the best instant camera you can buy.
The iPad mini 4 has all the functionality of its larger siblings but in a petite package. Considering that it’s a portable office machine, mini movie screen, magazine rack, videochat venue, fully stocked bookstore, shopping paradise, and more, it’s the most multitasking you can fit in a purse-friendly form.
More recently, gadget makers have begun paying more attention to what women really want — beyond color palettes. Although men still spend more than the ladies on consumer electronics — an average of $968 compared to $631 in 2010 — females’ financial investment in the market isn’t negligible [source: Consumer Electronics Association]. For example, women contributed about $90 billion to consumer electronics consumption in 2007 [source: McGraw]. And the product features attracting those female dollars revolve around functionality rather than just adorableness. Women tend to seek out gadgets that are well-designed, durable and straightforward to use — kind of like a classic handbag [source: Marroitt].
The Nyrius Aries Home+ is one of the coolest gadgets I own. It’s especially great if you’re a gamer and have kids. What the Aries Home does is allow you to wirelessly stream any HDMI-capable device — like your Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, BluRay, etc — to a second device, so that if your kids or someone else is occupying the living room TV, you can still use your gaming consoles or media players on another TV without having to go through the painful process of unplugging them from one TV and bringing them to another. The Nyrius Aries streams your content, flawlessly, laglessly and in full 1080p HD to another TV. I have my Xbox One and PS4 both plugged into it in case one of my kids is occupying the TV so that I can always game when I want to. Don’t let the higher price tag fool you — it’s much cheaper than buying a second gaming console. So if you’re wondering how to wirelessly transmit your gaming console or PC to another TV, check out the Aries Home+.
Brush teeth, kill monsters, prevent cavities. Wait, go back one. The Magik smart toothbrush uses computer vision technology, motion tracking and your phone’s front-facing camera to power an augmented reality gaming app. Sounds like fun.
iBridge is a small accessory that clips onto your iPhone or iPad. Once you run out of memory, plug in the Lightning connector, open the iBridge app, transfer all of your photos and files, then delete them from your phone to make room for more. Simple.

With a couple of pumps of the integrated, very intuitive mechanism, you have an amazing cup of espresso.
A good black tote is a necessity. One that holds up to a 13-inch laptop and has a charging dock for an iPhone built right in is a luxury. Which is a good way to describe the Everpurse Kate Spade Small Harmony Tote. The bag recharges by placing it on a charging mat.
eBay determines trending price through a machine learned model of the product’s sale prices within the last 90 days. New refers to a brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item, and Used refers to an item that has been used previously.
Sticking with the theme of gaming, VR is the hot topic of 2016. In fact, CES and GDC were both dominated by VR talk, with PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and Vive leading the way. But our VR of choice is the PlayStation VR, at least for now, simply because of its price point. What you’re getting for the price outshines the other two leading VR headsets, and although it’s slightly less advanced than Oculus or Vive, it’s still an incredibly great experience. Plus, there’s 100 Foot Robot Golf coming after it launches. Sure, you have to buy the PlayStation Camera (if you don’t have one already), but it’s a gaming VR headset made for gamers. If you’re looking to go VR but don’t want to break the bank, the PS VR is a solid choice. You can also check out our list of the best PS4 games of 2016 so far.

A lot of women I asked for help with this guide mentioned smart cooking tools. While I don’t want to relegate us all to the kitchen, Nomiku, a sous-vide for the digital age, was definitely tops in a couple discussions and deserves a mention. The device connects to your smartphone to help you get a perfect piece of tender cooked meat every time and retails at $200 for the original version or $250 if you want one with WiFi.
This is one of the most useful modern all-in-one gift ideas, because it incorporates a bit of everything that a man needs in order to handle his daily accessories and pocket space. It is a slate, set at an angle with a small collection of trays at the bottom and an assortment of grooves and holes cut into the reclined slate itself. This is to make it easier to empty your pockets, because every slot, every combination, and every groove on it can hold any kind of manly accessory. From phones to wristwatches, from lighters to sunglasses, even dog tags, spare change and wrist cuffs. You won’t be disappointed.

Notion is a home intelligence system that was recently funded on Kickstarter that uses a small, smart, multi-function sensor to detect quite a significant number of things in your home: a water leak, when a door/cabinet opens and closes, temperature and sound. When any of these things are detected, Notion will send a message to your smartphone (works with both iOS and Android). For example, if you place a Notion on your front door, it can tell you if someone knocks, if the door is opened, or if it doesn’t get shut. Its potential uses are incredible. If you put it on, say a liquor cabinet, it can tell you when that cabinet is opened. It also has a temperature sensor and can tel you if your house is getting too hot or too cold when you’re away from home. It isn’t yet available, but it is expected to ship in July.
